I've been writing since preschool, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. As managing editor for The Vision at MSMS, I was extremely privileged to work alongside a talented team of writers and build my skills in journalism. As an assistant editor for the Georgia Political Review at the University of Georgia, I was able to expand my skillset in political journalism while pursuing degrees in philosophy and cognitive science. Now, as a biology PhD student studying plant acoustics, I'm committed to making science more accessible (and interesting!). My specialties include insect behavior, comparative cognition, sensory biology, and the philosophy and biology of consciousness.
